Welcome to the Sustainable Event Alliance (SEA) website. We are industry stakeholders engaged with sustainable event management. Our mission is to:
- Provide a knowledge bank for events practitioners through the SEA website.
- Offer a portal for networking and discussion around sustainable event management.
- Communicate and create a commonality of best practice in sustainable event management across all industry sectors and the supply chain.
- To spread the desire to reduce impacts of event’s production.
- To open up opportunities for development of sustainable production solutions within the industry.
Become a Member
Everyone is welcome to look through the pages on this website for resources and information on sustainability in event management. Access to the supplier database and how-to guides are for members of SEA. Events industry professionals and students committed to sustainable event management are encouraged to join. In order to join you will need to pay a membership fee and also agree to managing your event productions to a set of principals.
Please click through to the Membership Charter page in order to read and agree to the charter and to pay your membership fee. An annual fee of AU$50 is charged, and can be paid through PayPal or email us and we can send you an invoice with direct debit details for payment.
Once you have paid the AU$50 you will be automatically transfered to a registration page where you get to give us all your particulars and choose a log in name. You get 5 days free, so you can also cancel it within that time before the amount is debited from your Paypal account. There is a cancellation link is at the bottom of the membership page.
Supplier Database
We are currently developing the supplier and solutions database. Financial members of the Sustainable Event Alliance will have access to this comprehesive database. You’ll be able to comment on suppliers and give them a rating. The database will be a truly user-driven listing, with endorsements from your industry peers. Suppliers will only be listed after they have been put through a series of checks. For now, this database is in development and continuing to grow. You can suggest a supplier to be listed through this page.
